Kathryn Dalziel ~ AssociateKathryn is an enthusiastic and articulate senior litigator who is highly motivated with a keen interest in all aspects of the law.
Kathryn has a multi-dimensional approach to law based on many years of practical experience in the Courts, where she is well respected. Kathryn believes dispute resolution requires a consideration of all the options, including solutions beyond the immediate realm of the law. Kathryn is Taylor Shaw's privacy specialist, known nationally and internationally as one of New Zealand's leading experts in Privacy Law. She has authored a number of publications and is regularly invited to address conferences on privacy matters, as well as lecturing in privacy and professional ethics at the University of Canterbury. An active participant within the New Zealand Law Society, Kathryn is a member of several committees: NZLS Standards Committee, Ethics Committee, and Human Rights < Privacy Committee. Tania Cook ~ AssociateTania is a senior family court lawyer, who has an innate ability to communicate with a diverse range of people. Extremely perceptive, she provides a professional and supportive service to clients in all aspects of the dispute resolution process. Joining the Taylor Shaw team in 2000, Tania has over 20 years experience within the legal profession. Her strong knowledge of property and commercial transactions adds value to the associated property aspects of family law.

Nicola Fraser ~ Senior SolicitorNicola, a senior member of Taylor Shaw's commercial team, is strongly client focused with an eye for detail. She uses her expertise to support her clients to find practical solutions for their legal transactions. Nicola makes the law more accessible by ensuring she is responsive to her clients' needs and they know more than just 'where to sign'. Nicola was admitted to the legal profession in 1985 and practiced in commercial and property law in both Christchurch and London. She then went into business with her husband, operating a successful farming enterprise in North Canterbury that they continue to run together. Joining Taylor Shaw in 2007 marked her return to the practice of law where Nicola has brought a wealth of practical knowledge and experience in the establishment and operation of a business.

Sharlene Tenbohmer ~ Trust Account ManagerSharlene is Taylor Shaw's trust account manager and senior administrator having worked in the firm for over 20 years. Sharlene's main responsibility is the ongoing management of the firm's trust account and she also assists in general estate and life tenancy administration, trusts and trust administration, estate planning and wills, and conveyancing. In her spare time Sharlene enjoys watching sport, walking and spending time with her children. | |
