Ingrid Taylor ~ PrincipalIngrid was admitted to the legal profession in 1993 and brings to the firm significant experience in property and business acquisitions, asset protection structures, and succession planning for private individuals and businesses. Ingrid is a member of the Trusts and Wills sub-committee of the New Zealand Law Society, is a member of the Institute of Directors and currently sits on the Board of Manchester Unity Friendly Society. She also acts as a Trustee for a number of charitable societies, organisations and individuals and brings to all of these functions considerable experience in general corporate matters including governance, directors' duties and shareholder disputes. Ingrid is married with two children and as a third generation practitioner, has law in her blood. Kathryn Dalziel ~ AssociateKathryn Dalziel was admitted to the legal profession in 1989. Kathryn brings to Taylor Shaw the benefit of 20 years experience in all aspects of civil litigation, privacy and employment law. Kathryn has worked in the civil litigation and employment law department of a national NZ law firm. She has also lectured in the School of Law, University of Canterbury. She is a trained instructor with the Institute of Professional Legal Studies (litigation, commercial and property) and is a member of the New Zealand Law Society faculty for litigation skills. Until recently, Kathryn was employed as a senior Crown Prosecutor in Christchurch. Kathryn is Taylor Shaw's privacy specialist having been employed by the Office of the Privacy Commissioner as a seminar presenter since 1996. She has written the Privacy Act for Schools (1996 Christchurch College of Education) and co-authored the chapter on Health Information in Health Care and the Law (2nd edition) (Johnson SP, Brookers 2004). In 2008, Kathryn was appointed by the New Zealand Law Society to a NZLS Standards Committee (Canterbury-Westland). She is a member of the NZLS (Canterbury-Westland) Ethics Committee. Kathryn is a born and bred Christchurch girl, who pedals to and from work through Hagley Park which is about as close as she likes to get to a golf course. | |

Tania Cook ~ AssociateTania was admitted to the legal profession in 1988. While specialising in all aspects of family law, Tania has significant experience in property and commercial transactions as well as trusts. As a family law practitioner, Tania provides a professional and supportive service to clients during what can be a difficult and stressful time. Nicola joined Taylor Shaw in 2007 and provides advice and service in a broad range of commercial matters including company structures and formations, shareholder agreements, business acquisition and divestment, finance, joint ventures, commercial and residential property transactions, and trust creation and administration. Nicola and her husband own and operate a farm in North Canterbury. Nicola commutes to Christchurch weekly with their two children who board at local schools. | |

Sharlene Tenbohmer ~ Trust Account ManagerSharlene is Taylor Shaw's trust account manager and senior administrator having worked in the firm for over 20 years. Sharlene's main responsibility is the ongoing management of the firm's trust account and she also assists in general estate and life tenancy administration, trusts and trust administration, estate planning and wills, and conveyancing. In her spare time Sharlene enjoys watching sport, walking and spending time with her children. | |
