Ira is a Solicitor with our Property and Commercial Team.
Ira is experienced in dealing with commercial and contract law, and assists clients with a variety of matters such as shareholders’ agreements and commercial leases.
She also provides property advice and helps clients with the sale and purchase of residential properties, entry into and exit from retirement villages, wills, and enduring powers of attorney.
Ira is part of our team that is advising our clients on their obligations as trustees under the Trusts Act 2019.
Before joining Taylor Shaw Ira ran her own commercial law practice in Germany and worked in management. She has a Doctorate in law from Humboldt University of Berlin and a Masters in law from the University of Durham. Ira then re-qualified in New Zealand for admission to the Bar at Honours’ Level. Her experience overseas included placements at the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law and the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law.
