Taylor Shaw provides specialised and practical advice to a wide range of clients in education law including Boards of Trustees, Principals, Teachers, General Staff and Parents.

We have significant experience with schools, including state, integrated and private schools.

James has presented seminars on education law and has developed a programme for advising Boards on matters relating to their compliance with education related legislation in New Zealand. He has been involved in a full range of education law work including advising local School Boards through Ministry of Education proposals to close or merge several Canterbury Schools as well as working with parents to resolve education related disputes.
